Monday 14 June: Ooop North

 Packed and on the road by 9. We stop to check tyre pressure and have a pretty smooth unhindered journey across a medley of motorways towards the North East. Coffee and lunch stop in the van and then we spot the Angel of the North from the road! We finally arrive at our campsite at Walkmill near Warkworth where we have a lovely pitch at the top of the field on the end, so a bit of privacy. Idyllic setting but only one shower! 2 metres social distancing may not be enough! We stretch our legs with a walk to the Coquet River before drinks poos and supper of roasted vegetable and feta pasta. We are upstairs and Ellie is downstairs tonight!
